In October 2024, the Nova Muse Festival offers a special opportunity for a small number of advanced violin, viola, and cello students to perform with Festival Mentors on tour.
Details: Students must be available to rehearse in Spreyton from September 29. The tour finishes with the final concert in Penguin on October 5. Students will receive mentoring and masterclasses as part of the opportunity.
Expressions of interest are welcome from any student from 16 years of age. To be eligible, please send a brief biography and a recent video recording (link) of your playing to NovaMuseFestival@gmail.com. Please ensure the subject heading is TOUR followed by your name.
The expected level for eligibility is Diploma or above.
A travel allowance and accommodation will be provided for the duration of the tour.

Here's a set of instructions for creating an unlisted YouTube link for your video recording.
Once you have uploaded your unlisted YouTube video, please email us the link with your brief biography to NovaMuseFestival@gmail.com. Please ensure the subject heading is TOUR followed by your name.
1. Log into YouTube and access your homepage.
2. Click on the Create A Video Icon in top right hand corner, to start uploading a YouTube video.
3. Tap on Public and select “Unlisted” from the drop-down list
4. Publish. Your video will not come up in search results, and your subscribers will not see the video you upload.
